My name is Kurtis Anderson, I'm a Canadian-born seasoned traveler. I spend my summers as a Whitewater Raft Guide at Kumsheen Rafting in British Columbia, Canada, and travel abroad to various countries during the winter.

All About Me
In the summer of 2017, my family and I left on a 3 week trip to Africa. After getting a taste for traveling and the desire for something more, it was then that I decided to make a big change. I left my engineering job in Vancouver in November, booked my flights for a 5 month trip to South East Asia, and registered in a Whitewater Raft Guide course at Kumsheen for the following summer.

Since then, I've continued to raft and travel each year. Throughout the years, many of my friends have asked me for travel recommendations and tips, and so I decided to combine my knowledge and resources into TraVentureSide, to help my friends and fellow travelers experience this amazing world we live in!
All About Me
In 2016, I graduated from Confederation College in Thunder Bay, Canada as an Electrical Engineer Technologist. Less than a week after graduating, I moved across the country to Vancouver, British Columbia to be closer to the mountains, where I found a job in my field as an IT and Electrical Technologist.
